Description
This OBD2 car diagnostic scanner tool will read & clear engine fault codes and display live sensor data from the car’s engine in text format, including the oxygen sensors (if fitted). It is compatible with most OBD2 fitted petrol and diesel cars from 2003 onwards. The tool offers fault code definitions on-screen, reads & clears freeze frame data and is also quick and simple to use, making it the perfect tool for keeping in your glovebox.
The following operations can be performed using this scanner:
- Switch off Check Engine Light
- Read stored and pending fault codes
- View on-screen fault code definitions
- Automatic VIN acquisition and decoding for faster definitions of manufacturer-specific fault codes (dependent on vehicle support)
- Read freeze-frame data (a snapshot of sensor values when a DTC occurred)
- Read real-time live data streams from the engine sensors
- Display live data streams in text format
- View I/M Readiness Test Status for emissions testing
- Retrieve VIN, Cal ID and CVN identifiers from ECU (dependent on vehicle support)
- Supports multiple languages, including English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and Russian.
PLEASE NOTE: this tool only communicates with the orange Engine Management light symbol on the dashboard. It does NOT read faults from other systems or clear other dashboard warning lights (such as ABS and airbag warning lights).

Top product…Bought it about 2 weeks ago…Only giving a review after using it…My mechanic told me all injectors were needed to be changed, but when I used the OBD scanner, it clearly showed a problem with only Cylinder 2, so just 1 injector had to be changed and the car run perfectly fine after that. Saved me a lot of money!

Not bad for the price, my car’s MIL was on for some time, so I plugged in this scanner and got a basic idea of what the problem is. Don’t expect that it can erase any code permanently, it will turn it off for some time, but it will then come back again until you fix the fault.

This arrived on time and was well packed. The written description was spot on and the instructions for use are clear and easy to follow. I used it the day after delivery and I was able to identify the faults and as none were serious I cleared them from the system turning the warning lights off
